Jeff Hunter is the host of CRIMES AGAINST HUMILITY, a podcast dedicated to the messy, beautiful, and often hilarious human condition. We don't treat behaviors like narcissism or imposter syndrome as sacred malignancies; we treat them as just part of the human experience. With a voice that blends genuine humor with deep empathy, we explore the growing behavioral norms of our time. Our mission is to approach these topics with humility, love, and a truly connected perspective. I believe that by being honest about our own struggles, we can help others find their way through the shadows of isolation and codependency.

Jeffrey Hunter is a husband, father, Marine Corps veteran, Paramedic, healthcare and organizational leader, coach, inspirational speaker, musician, songwriter, and artist whose life has been shaped by service, adversity, leadership, and human connection.

For more than two decades, Jeffrey has worked in demanding environments spanning healthcare, emergency services, safety, leadership development, organizational culture, trauma-informed support, and workforce well-being. He has led teams through crisis, helped organizations navigate change, supported people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives, and learned firsthand that behind every title, uniform, diagnosis, disagreement, or struggle is a human being who wants to be heard, valued, and understood.

What sets Jeffrey apart is not simply the breadth of his experience, but the heart he brings to it. Deeply empathetic and relentlessly curious about people, he believes meaningful conversations begin when we stop performing, put down our defenses, and become willing to listen to one another.

As a musician, songwriter, artist, coach, and speaker, Jeffrey uses creativity and storytelling to explore the complicated realities of life—success and failure, trauma and healing, humility and ego, love and loss, leadership, forgiveness, resilience, and the lessons we often learn the hard way.

Above every professional accomplishment, Jeffrey considers being a husband and father among the most important roles of his life. Those relationships have strengthened his belief that compassion, accountability, humor, vulnerability, and genuine connection can change people, families, workplaces, and communities.

Behind the microphone, Jeffrey isn't interested in polished answers or superficial conversation. He wants to understand the person beneath the story—the experiences that shaped them, the mistakes that taught them, the moments that humbled them, and the truths they discovered along the way.

His philosophy is simple: our differences may make the conversation interesting, but our humanity is what makes the conversation matter.
